The Work

The Work starts when you contact us to schedule a time to meet and discuss how we can lower your energy costs, save you money and help the environment at the same time. We will not quote you a fixed price until such time as we have had the opportunity to evaluate your home/business location, orientation, mounting, electrical needs, tax situation and budget. Solarco prides itself on working with clients to achieve 100% satisfaction

The Work includes the following:

    * We will schedule a time to meet with you to introduce ourselves and our company and most importantly, discuss all the benefits of going solar, your specific needs, along with quoting you a estimate.

    * Should you decide to move forward, we will measure-up your project and submit to you a final proposal/contract. This should take no longer than 3-business days.

    * Once the contract is signed, along with a small initial deposit, Solarco will immediately submit all paperwork to the NC Utilities Commission and the Utility company for approval. Currently, this can be a lengthy, time consuming process and once it is complete, we will order all the material to complete the system.

    * Once all the materials have arrived, we will schedule the installation for all the work to be performed. Also, at this time, we will post all required permits.

    *  Depending on the size of the system, a residential  installation should take between 3 to 5 days. Once the project is complete and inspected by all appropriate parties, the utility company will send out a representative to do the final hook-up. This process could take up to a week or so depending on the utilities work load. During this whole process, Solarco will require periodic deposits/draws to keep the work flowing with the final balance of payment due after the system is up and running, inspections complete, and final approval.

      * Solarco warrants for two years all workmanship and materials to do the work and passes on all manufacturers warranties to the original owner which typically includes:
        * 25-Years on the solar panels & cells to 80% efficiency
        * 10 to 15-Years on the inverter and batteries.
